S/SW blog philosophy -

I credit favorite writers and public opinion makers.

A lifelong Democrat, my comments on Congress, the judiciary and the presidency are regular features.

My observations and commentary are on people and events in politics that affect the USA or the rest of the world, and stand for the interests of peace, security and justice.

Author David Kravets recently published an excellent overview of the history of the resulting court cases since warrantless wiretapping was revealed by the New York Times several years ago. He finished the article with the latest in this sad saga of successful government efforts to continue to scoop up all of our electronic communications for the National Security Agency's eavesdropping program targeting American citizens. http://amplify.com/u/1p8j
