Whenever we are treated to TV coverage of a White House Press conference, Mark Knoller's warm face - he has a beard - and distinctive voice will be emanating from the second row with a reasonable question. He is a reporter and does not have to get his kicks as a shrill voiced adversary. I am one of thousands who follow his reporting on Twitter. His trademark tweets-in-a-series usually pick up the essential elements of the most complex story in a most rational and readable style.
