S/SW blog philosophy -

I credit favorite writers and public opinion makers.

A lifelong Democrat, my comments on Congress, the judiciary and the presidency are regular features.

My observations and commentary are on people and events in politics that affect the USA or the rest of the world, and stand for the interests of peace, security and justice.

More on this tomorrow. But I will say that this is a very big deal. To those of us who have been following this program since it was first revealed by the New York Times late in 2005, it feels like a vindication for constitutional protection of our rights to privacy and civil liberties. Those in the know speculate that the Obama administration will not appeal the ruling. http://amplify.com/u/3x8l
