Four classmates and friends of Mrs. Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame write an open letter at TPMCafe that is very much worth reading. It is rather heart wrenching to hear them from a place so near the action.
Their letter helps to put into perspective the actual consequences of betrayals in the so-called "outing" controversy. People who did the leaking manage to ignore the potential danger of revealing CIA operatives' identities. This letter reinforces all the reasons for having a law against such revelations.
Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald has been called upon to ascertain the facts in the case; let's support that work.
